Base Tours are available for the general public, school groups and youth groups.
Tours of the Gowen Field installation must be scheduled through the Public Affairs office.
Tours are available year round, as long as there is no conflict with training or schools.
Tours may include any or all of the following.

Army Aviation (Blackhawk’s and Apache’s)
Tanks

Requests for community events should be coordinated with the Public Affairs Office. You can do this by calling 208-272-5232.

Requests for fly-by’s within the State and within 7 days of the following holidays may be approved by The Adjutant General.

Independence Day
Veterans Day
National POW/MIA Recognition Day
Fly-by requests outside the 7 day window. The requestor must complete the DD form 2535 and fax to the appropriate branch of service, (Army or Air Force) per the instructions on page 4 of the document. Upon receipt of approval from the appropriate service, contact the Public Affairs office to request local assets.
