The Idaho Army Guard School has been an essential element of the U.S military since 1903. It was founded as a citizen force aimed to defend the community and the country. Since its formation 116 years ago, the Army Guard School has provided adequate training to individuals who wish to serve and protect their country and defend its ideals. The soldiers also protect the community against hostile attacks.
The training runs for one weekend of every month. There is also another two-week annual training that happens once every year. This enables them to continue with education and hold civilian jobs.
